I didn’t feel happy with my appearance and was lacking motivation and confidence. I had not exercised for 6 months before starting P10 due to various aches & pains. To someone who is experienced I’d just say the facilities, community and coaching is most likely better at P10 and you’ll get a 100kg snatch far faster! I’d instantly recommend it no matter what level route… to someone who’d never been to a gym or even crossfit gym my instantly reaction would be to advise them to come and do a taster session and them sign up for a month. The coaches have loads of knowledge and if you’re looking for help with other items such are physio, nutrition or anything else there are options within the gym at are willing to help. I have lost some weight and put on some muscle without really watching my diet too much, just like to turn up and get stuck in! Social aspects is good people regularly go for a coffee or a few drinks after workouts and supliert each other to enter competitions or other fitness events! The coaching and programming is obviously great and the class sizes are sensibly sized so that the coaches can keep an eye on things. I genuinely look forward to turning up to lifting weights and hitting a WOD the other members! people of all levels pushing, encouraging and helping each each do the work out or hit a lift…. well that’s the thing that’s great about crossfit and P10 Fitness…. Mentally I’ve been feeling far better since coming to P10, constantly working out with like minded people trying to better themselves under the guidance of good coaches has made me feel much better about myself day to day.Īlthough I feel I’m getting stronger and lifting good numbers the results I’m personally most proud of are probably my progression with items I couldn’t do before like double unders, rope climbs and handstands just because I feel like they’re more technically challenging.Ĭommunity…. Progressing well with gymnastics and my fitness has definitely improved, putting it all down to good coaching and consistently turning up to the gym. I’ve definitely made lots of gains, I’m lifting more than I ever have and feel I’m doing it with better technique. I had previously been a member at standard gyms, all too busy in London and and full of bad coaching, I also found it a struggle to motivate myself to go especially when they’re packed and trying to get a squat rack or bench is a mission. Randomly sitting on by the pool with a cocktail a Christmas spotted P10 and signed up for a taster session the day we got back. Having previously done some CrossFit and weightlifting I had been keeping an eye out for a box to open that was handy for me. I was doing some exercise at a gym and bootcamp but both were un-motivating.
